A coincidence! Going there tomorrow. We have visited several times in the last 18 months. All seasons, all weathers.
Note – the photo uploader is no longer giving the option of resizing. Failed in IE and also in Edge.
I find that an interesting and pleasing composition there John. Black and white emphasizes the shapes.
Well enjoy the gardens John, always worth a visit. Photographed the Laburnum walkway tunnel – took several but none came off. About a week to early as well.
I bet you have been across that little bridge a few times Peter.!!!
I’ve been racking my brain cell but don’t recognise it.
Here’s a few garden related photos I’ve taken recently:
This one was taken at Chester Zoo which has an abundance of gardens most please don’t notice.
I think these creepy crawlies are flying ants photographed at Swettenham’s arboretum. The narrow depth of field makes it difficult to get them all in focus.
This photo was taken just after the Passchendaele service in Memorial Square. I like the contrast between the real flowers and the poppies. Wish will last the longest?
Another photo taken at the Lovel Arboretum.
Those are soldier beetles, Peter.
You guys are doing well, I shall have to pull my socks up and post a few.
THE “Little Garden Bridge” –Peter–I was expecting John to say its the entrance to Little Moreton Hall!!
Thanks Ken. I recognise it now.
I polished the dust of my macro lens this morning and popped into my wild garden and took a few close-ups to eliminate my untidy garden.
All great with the macro Peter -very natural and insects so sharp. Well done as always.
Nice and neat tidy garden. and bet that’s yours Ian. Lovely dappled lighting.
