Curry’s are selling selected Canon lenses with 20% off. No use to me being a Nikon / Fuji user but apparently some are the cheapest that they have been.

Apologies if the links don’t work. 20% discount applied at checkout

Also Canon are running a Cashback offer on certain lenses

Unfortunately I can’t list the lenses in the offer

Curry’s have had some good offers lately. I bought 2 Fuji lenses at 10% discount and they were already at the best price you could buy anywhere.

BTW bear in mind the 100-400 has just been replaced, but at a price! It was a very popular lens but the IS was years out of date. Good IQ though.

Thanks for posting that information Paul. My 24-105 has just packed up and I may need to replace it if I can’t get it fixed.

Thanks for that Paul may have to raid the piggy bank or do a Bonnie and Clyde as I’d like a truly wide angle lens. I do have a fish eye lens but its for my film pentax camera (think Ian said I could buy converter rings to attach it to my Canon)

But first need to buy a battery for my laptop as its now in danger of shutting my laptop down completely as its not even taking a charge from the charger. Oh well when it pours it pours!

I may be selling my Canon equipment. My 24-105 would have to be the last thing to go, easily the most used lens and I suppose that’s why you’ve worn yours out Peter.

It’s nice to buy brand new equipment, but you can get some some good buys from the second hand suppliers. Most of them give a six month guarantee. Ofcourse, your never sure how the item has been treated, but most amateur photographs look after their equipment and the companies give an honest description of the state of the item. It’s worth considering especially if your on a budget. I’ve bought a few items from MPB and have found them very professional.
