Sharon gave me my copy last evening of this important document. Very well set out with the sub-headings defining aspects of the policy. A “Child” is defined as under 18 years of age. It does not define though what is a “Vulnerable Adult” and this could cover a broad spectrum.—Sub heading “Always” 2—is important to everyone -which we would all agree on. 4/ Could be a bit ambiguous in respect of adults always having a carer depending on how a “vulnerable adult ” is defined. Can it be defined???—Since now Googled this and the NHS provides a very comprehensive definition .An adult is over 18 years. Then a structure covering a whole range for those with “Learning difficulties”—-Physical difficulties and “Mental illness” as adults classed as vulnerable.—Where the insert “re-membership of CPS –viz—–Acceptance of the CPS Child Protection Policy—should that not also be to include vulnerable adults??? (follows 5 after the first section) .
