Putting this here so as not overide the interesting bit by Ian in “Photography”. Knowing some members use DSCOLOUR Labs for their prints, I wonder if they calibrate with them. I do not as only use for big personal prints.Had one back today so dark it beggars belief–yet on my monitor and A4 printer its perfect as out of the camera. They say it looks one stop over on their monitor. Does anyone experience this problem.

I use DS Colour Labs for my competition prints and I apply their profile to my jpegs before uploading them. Generally I find them very good but occasionally a print is processed a bit too dark.
Your photo looks a bit dark on my monitor. I would say about 1/2 a stop. I thought DSC offered an option for uploading files to be auto corrected. I disable that option myself.
