Discussing club outings with some members. Many good ideas but what about starting with a modest one? Crewe Park.

This stage in its re-development needs recording, there is plenty of scope, we can all get there for practically nothing and Crewe T Council may like to use the pictures.

    What d’ya think?

YES I could go to that one –buy you all an ice cream-“-OH WHAT A PICTURE-“–(WHO SAID THAT???   tommy steele–half a sixpence—1962)—minds play tricks–I stand corrected—1963  Cambridge Theatre .–
Thinking about this–members all in the bandstand licking ice creams–OH WHAT A PICTURE—crewe guardian–bring it on!!

I’ve always enjoyed photographing the Quees Park. The flora changes everytime I go there. You can take close-ups, go wide, take nature shots or ‘street photography. Quite a variety and a challenge.

Pick a time and date and I’ll make sure everyone else knows about it.

I assume it’ll have to be a weekend; and that Sundays will be easier for most people than Saturdays. Next Sunday (6 July) may be a bit too close for folk to organise. So how about

    2pm Sunday 13 July

Meet at front gate (wherever that is – someone with local knowledge please advise!)

Correction: Meet in car park opposite main gate in Queens Park Drive. (As per Wallace’s suggestion below)

The park is open till 20:30 June-Aug incl, so no trouble working into the golden hour 😉

There is a car park opposite the main gate, which may be a better meeting place. Know how to get there , it is called Queens Park Drive,

We could meet every Sunday. They have a café. Many clubs meet unofficially out-of-season, but usually at a pub somewhere. any Sunday in July suits me.
