The theme for April is now closed

    The theme for May is

    Photo Captions

As a bit of light relief for the merry month of May I’ve decided to invite you to post any of your photographs that you would like other members to suggest a caption for. Additionally you can join in the fun and suggest a caption for other members photographs. Many of our members are very clever at thinking of witty titles for their photographs and many of us have some great photographs that are begging of a clever title. So let’s put the two together and have a bit of fun in the process to get in the summer mood. If you post a photograph give it a title so that other members can refer to it later in the trial of posts. Thanks for your contributions.

It’s easy to upload your pictures now. The best way to insert an image is to use the right hand icon in the edit menu. It looks like a picture of a mountain. If you wish you can prepare your picture before hand to have a long side of something like 650px at 72ppi, but the upload dialogue box has a resize option.

There’s no restriction on when the photograph was taken so search though your archives show us what you can produce. If you would like to suggest any topics for the monthly theme please let me know. Thank you to everyone who contributed to last months’ theme.

I’ll kick off this month’s theme to get everyone in the mood. Can you give me a good caption for this photo? I was thinking of “That’s where I left it!” I’m sure someone can do better.

This picture isn’t of the best quality but is begging for a good title. Can you think of one?

Here’s a photo I took at the Sandbach Transport Festival. I thought it was funny the way the two guys were deeply involved in the engine and the other man seeing the funny side. It just needs a good title. Help!

I wish I could help Ken. I’ve been trying to think of alternative caption but haven’t got a good one yet. Thanks very much for posting these. I was getting a bit lonely!
