At last -delivered today–the Lumix DMC-FZ-1000.     I was drawn between the 1000  or the Leica V-Lux 114 as the two are like specs.  My brain won over my heart and the Lumix it is. Quite a big camera with the whopping 25–400 Leica lens. Big sensor and it feels good. Was expecting the body to be not as refined as the Leica –but pleased that it is . £300 less than the Leica and has £50 cash back. Leica includes Lightbox   which I would not use- and a three year warranty.Panasonic will give me an extra year(2).  So good choice and I still have my Leica V-Lux 1.
