Kath >>> I’ve already said on Flickr how much I like your first picture (the ice-cream eaters). I also very much like your terrific portrait, “the other way to shave”: beautifully composed, lovely colour (and colour palette), and proper catchlights(!). Very nice indeed.
Thank you all for supporting this month’s theme with such wonderful photographs. I’m sorry for the delay in posting this.
I like Ian’s legs and arms photograph because I find it quite graphical and it’s a true picture building exercise for me.
I find the photo for the confused tourist looking at the no entry size quite humourous. You can feel their situation as they try to use their guide for navigating, but are told no entry.
I really like Kath’s set of pictures. The guy enjoying the ice-cream is simply delicious. In the next one I like the link between the ladies glasses and the circles in the background. I think ‘Where am I would have been as good if the Metro sign hadn’t been included as it helps create the atmosphere and set the scene. In the Wedding photo it looks like the wedding photographer is redundant. Well caught Kath. I like the title for ‘The other way to shave’, the guy’s expression and overall quality.
All three of Ian’s latest photos are all about capturing the moment for me. I second earlier or later and the photograph would be a lot different. I like the had gestures and expressions you’ve captured. I also feel that the middle photo asks questions about what’s going on.
