I was in Liverpool today looking the Biennial events in the City. I came across this one by accident, as your typical woman who likes window shopping I headed to Liverpool 1 after being at the Open Eye Exhibition at the Pier Head. This stunning exhibition is and should be at the top of your list to see if you are in Liverpool. What is most surprising is the fact that it isn’t part of the Biennial event itself.

Some of the images I remember being in photographic magazines, but to see them all in one place is great. The exhibition is all on one floor and has work from both professional and amature photographers alike. Some make you laugh others will make to angry. But its one cohesive exhibition.

The location to see it is Liverpool ONE, 40 South John Street, L1 8BJ. Its on the lower floor and is wheel chair accessible as is the vnue itself. Worth a look.

Thanks for the heads up about this, Meg.

The Biennial seems poorly organised, it is  unclear what’s on.

We usually do list the Open Eye Gallery offerings  as they are always worth a look. I missed the last one about the city’s Chinatown myself but many said they enjoyed it.

Thanks for alerting us Meg, I’ll have another look and list  something tomorrow.

The full blown photo orientated Biennale in Liverpool is 2015.

I’ve put that on, but only a few days to go for the Sony exhibition. It isn’t actually part of the biennial.
