PAGB Inter-Federation Results 2014 – Ian Whiston, Meg Cumming , Dennis Swaby

July 7, 2014 in Crewe PS news

Thanks to Ian Whiston, who has found the PAGB Results we were waiting for on the Midland Federation Website!

Please be clear that the selection of entries for this competition is made by the L&CPU from entries to their Individuals’ Competition and, with thousands of entries it is quite something to even have your stuff selected but they have unfortunately not told us what the selections were! However, what we do now know is that 4 members’ pictures were selected for the PAGB Inter-Federation 2014 Exhibitions!

Congratulations to Ian again for a medal (for Hyena & Cub) and an acceptance (Cheetah and Tommie Lamb), to Dennis Swaby (Curlew) and Meg Cumming (A Nice Cup of Rosie Lee). All PDIs except for Meg’s mono print (another 5 Towns entry?).

I would also like to congratulate Tom Jones of Nantwich CC for an acceptance – On the Edge.

The FULL CATALOG is available for download on the results page. The useful things is that it is illustrated, but that means a large sized file – 4Mb. As I cannot promise that we will have a chance to see the exhibition this next season do have a look at the catalogue to get a flavour of what is doing well nationally.

You will also get a chance to get that flavour on Saturday at the PDI Championships at Warwick – tickets here.

EVENTS – Please have a look at the EVENTS page. We are adding things as they come to our attention. I have started marking the new items but the “NEW” label will only be there for a week or two, so check regularly. The most recent addition (two minutes ago!) is a note about the Crewe International Event on Sunday.
