Taken with 24×105 lens, no filters, hand held. Not to sure if there is too much distraction in the foreground, Swans and Gulls.

I really like this Robert.  Lovely clarity, colour and light.  I don’t have a problems with the bird activity in the foreground especially as the water takes up a high proportion of the image and without the interest added by the birds it could be overpowering..  The reflections the swans are casting are rather attractive. Is there a slight HDR effect on this?  If so it is very well done.  If not … I am jealous and want to know your secret or at the very least your camera settings :-).

A lovely shot. The boom line across the mid ground gives direction to the background and the sense of quietness is lovely considering its a harbour.Reminds me of a Brugel painting. Well done.

I prefer this shot to the one in your other post Bob, because the foreground barrier has been removed so my eye goes straight into the picture. I then see the birds which are fine with me and on to the boats in the background. The low soft sun light makes the picture for me though. In the other shot the ship on the right is pointing out of the shot. In this one you’ve got the red boat blocking that so the interest stays in.  Just a personal opinion.
