As we’re experiencing exceptional dry and hot weather this summer our gardens are starting to blossom early. Even if you don’t have one yourself there’s plenty of parks now open for enjoying your exercise. While you’re there why not practise your garden photographic techniques. There are so many different way you can photograph a garden. You can go for the general view photographing the whole thing or move in close and and record the fine detail of the vibrant blossoms. Use your depth of field creatively to concentrate just one element of the flower with it’s out of focus petals framing it. You could also photograph any insects visiting your garden.
