‘Clevenden Pier’ by Paul Hill
Paul Hill has been one of our most popular and consistent photographers for many years. His dedication sees him rise early in a morning to capture the sunrise on top of a big hill. Many of his best images aren’t down to good luck. Paul researches his subjects and locations to find the best times and place to photograph them. He has many exceptional nature images, and he also has a keen eye for street photography.
Paul was the overall winner of our Lockdown League with 132 points and came second in the Mono section. His ‘Eurasian Curlew’ won the second Nature competition, while his ‘Storm hits Porthleven’ came second in the second General competition. In the Mono section Paul’s ‘Cleveden Pier’ won the first Mono competition and ‘Crummock Water Copse’ came second in the second Mono competition.
