Some observations – I think all the newcomers who put work in did very well. Everyone had at least one good score and please remember that the lowest score is often 12 and judges can go down to 8!
You can modify your images before entering them again in the Annual if you want to take Tony’s advice.
BTW when he referred to borders please note that it was only on images where the black parts of the picture are in danger of blending with the black background, so that it is unclear where the image “finishes” and then only a very fine border , 2 or 3 pixels. Otherwise borders are best avoided and should only ever be very fine. A broad white border is far too distracting.
HAND IN FOR THE FIRST PRINT COMPETITION
Robertshaw Trophy – Remember that we will be having visitors from the other 4 clubs. Tillman Kleinhans ARPS EFIAP DPAGB is judging and if you have not heard him judge before you are in for a treat. The images are excellent and it should be an entertaining evening.
