Today, 29th June, at 2pm the L&CPU Exhibition opens at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum in Birkenhead (Slatey Road, CH43 4UE). The exhibition will be displayed in two parts, the first from now until the end of July and then the remainder until the end of August. The prints displayed are listed on the L&CPU website. Wallace’s Smile is the only Crewe print in the first half.
Awards will be made today and Ian Whiston will be there to receive his DPAGB which he gained in April, as you know.
So, try and pay a visit to the exhibition. It is a great opportunity to see the prints selected from the 2013 L&CPU Competitions (all from the Individuals’ Comp) well displayed in a real gallery (no peering over someone trying to drink their coffee). An excellent gallery too!
The PAGB PDI Championships are at Warwick University on 13th July. 3 L&CPU Clubs are taking part. It is a chance to see the best work from clubs throughout the UK and, since images used before are not permitted, a lot of new work. Still time to get your tickets – which are at the subsidised price of £5.

Own club News; Tom has rewritten the Competition Rules and they will be posted soon. The changes we made are of course incorporated but this is a complete re-write and I think you will find them clearer, simpler and more concise. He also has the membership cards prepared; this year a list of the competitions will appear on it as well as the programme of course, and the other usual information. Once we are into the season you need to check the programme on the website for changes.
