Paul Hill was the overall winner of our Lockdown League by achieving 132 points. Stephen Coyne was only a point behind and Ian Whiston came third with 130 points. Due to COVID forcing us to have Zoom meetings, the Lockdown League replaced our print competition. The quality of images in the three competitions was very high despite some members having to dig into their archives. Paul’s ‘Cleveden Peir’ won the first Lockdown League mono competition on 13 January. It was judged by Rebecca Entwistle. She appreciated Paul’s use of a long exposure to iron out the water creating a relaxing atmosphere. She added that the technically excellent image scene suits monochrome and was well composed. Paul also scored 20 for his nature photograph of a ‘Eurasian Curlew’ in our second nature competition which was judge by Roger Evans MPAGB FBPE EFIAP/p. Well done to all the winners!
