Last nights meeting at Holmes Chapel saw us compete for the Robertshaw PDI Trophy against Leek, Holmes Chapel, Bylthe Bridge and Macclesfield. A good turnout of Crewe members saw a high standard of work keenly judged by Robert Millin who gave us a talk on Sports photography a couple of weeks ago.
After spending over one and half hours scrutinising the 50 PDIs Robert delivered the eagerly awaited results. Top of the pile came Macclesfield with 180 points, we came a very creditable second with 171 points and Blythe Bridge and Holmes Chapel tied in fourth place with 159 points.
Congratulations to Ian Whiston who scored 20 for ‘Warthog Escaping’  and also to Ian McNab and Martin McGing for scoring 19 for  ‘Corps de Ballet’ and ‘Fredau.
