It was fun to see the collection of old photos which Tom had assembled because this was an occasion not only to celebrate “half-term” in our season but also the fact that the club is 65 years old this year.

We watched an AV of the first Jim Harrsion Trophy in 2005 and this is featured on the FRONT PAGE.

Sorry Adobe but your pressure to make us buy the upgrade for our Photoshop CS4 didn’t work. Over a dozen of you wrote in answer to my email that you agreed it was not needed. We will now be sticking with CS4 for the foreseeable future.

We are selecting for the Great British Cup on Sunday. The Natural History section is more of an individual competition so if you Natural History regulars have something new which you think will do well, send it in pronto!

We now have three weeks to our next meeting on 10th January and if you have time do take a look at our Forum, sign in and post something. There is a monthly theme you can contribute to and issues you can raise. We need more contributors to enrich this useful resource, so get in there!

Our Twitter account @crewephotosoc will provide you with many many browsing suggestions which are selected with great care and represent some of the best work from the present and past.

We have also added the issue of [wpfilebase tag= fileurl id=90 linktext= ‘CPS APERTURE ‘/], produced in 1997 on the occasion of our Golden Jubilee. This club magazine was produced by Tom and makes a very interesting read. It is here and also on the RESOURCES page.

Have a great Christmas and keep calling back.
