Congratulations to Paul Hill on being our Photographer of the Year once again for the consistent high standard of his photography. Paul accumulated 372, winning by 2 points, by submitting a high entry of quality photographs. Judge Darrell Oakden DPAGB EFIAP BPE5*awarded ‘Red deer stag during rut’, above, 18 points in our second Print Competition. Paul’s attention to detail and dedication has led to his continued success. It’s no accident though, as Paul does his homework before going on a photoshoot. He learns about his subjects habits and finds the best times and environments in which to photograph them. His hard work bore fruit when he took a stunning photographic of Comet Neowise flying over Jodrell Bank which won UK Astronomy’s photography of the month for July.
